Prices include GST and assume easy access at both ends. We charge by the hour from arrival to finish. Travel from our Wellington base up the valley is charged from base. Steep drives, stairs and long carries take longer. Dan confirms your estimate before we book.
Upper Hutt central is about 35 minutes from Wellington outside peak traffic. A morning start beats the Friday afternoon traffic and saves you money.
Mostly flat streets, single-storey houses and room to park the truck on the kerb.
Sloping sections and streets that wind up from the valley floor. Some driveways are too steep for the truck, so we park on the street and carry.
Narrow, bush-lined roads, tight corners and houses set well below or above the road. Tell us about the driveway and the steps when you book.

More house and more section for the money. We load in town, head up SH2 and unload the same day.

We enlisted the services of Dan and his Team for our shift from storage in Palmerston North to present our property prior to going on the market in Belmont, Lower Hutt We could not praise Relocationz more highly . The shift included very fragile items and also extremely heavy items accumulated from five generational properties. We personally found the prospect of getting our 'treasures' out of storage after 10 years particularly daunting, however the "Relocationz" Team didn't blink an eyelid. They arrived in Palmerston North at 10am and the furniture had been placed in the double storied house in Lower Hutt by the end of the day. We also called on Dan and his team member to assist with reloading and stacking our container after various items had been re-packed. They also offered to take items to the Salvation Army for us, which we were hugely appreciative of as we were under a particularly tight time-frame. The property has since successfully sold and we will once again enlist the services of Dan and his Team with regard to vacant possession prior to settlement. Update 06.09.26- I have used Relocationz ltd for my 3rd move and they were great yet again! I’ve used Relocationz for both my moves now and they’ve been great each time! Speedy and reliable, a great service. The second move was done a steep zig zag path and they were so helpful and managed it without a problem! I’ve recommended them to friends and will definitely use them again when I next move. Dan and David were friendly and had great communication too!

Sometimes. Pinehaven and parts of Silverstream have steep, narrow driveways where a loaded truck cannot turn or stop safely. In that case we park on the street and carry, which adds time. Send a photo of the driveway with your quote request and Dan will tell you what to expect.
A 2-bedroom flat is about 2 hours of loading and unloading with two movers, plus the drive up SH2 and travel from our base. Peak traffic slows the truck, so a morning start keeps your hours down. Dan confirms your estimate before you book.
Yes. We run over the Remutaka Hill to Featherston, Greytown, Martinborough, Carterton and Masterton. A loaded truck is slow on the hill, so it adds drive time. Put both addresses in the form and Dan will include the hill in your estimate.
Yes. One mover and a truck at $135 per hour suits a fridge, washing machine, couch or a Trade Me buy. The minimum charge is 1 hour. Book through the quote form and pick "A few items", or call Dan on 027 364 9590.
