Prices include GST. Charged by the hour from when we arrive to when the last item is in, with easy access at both ends. Travel from our Wellington base to your first address is charged from base for Hutt runs. Stairs, long carries and no parking take longer. We confirm your estimate before we book.

New builds, often three storeys with steep internal stairs and a shared driveway. Two movers is the minimum for a king bed going up to the top floor.
Wainuiomata Hill Road is the main way in and out. A loaded truck climbs it slower than your car, and we allow for that in your time estimate.
Marine Drive winds around Point Howard, Lowry Bay, York Bay and Days Bay. Many houses sit up steep paths above the road. Long carries add time, so mention them in the form.
Hill sections, sloping driveways and split-level homes.
A Te Aro or Newtown flat out through the Ngauranga Gorge to a Hutt house with a back yard.

We enlisted the services of Dan and his Team for our shift from storage in Palmerston North to present our property prior to going on the market in Belmont, Lower Hutt We could not praise Relocationz more highly . The shift included very fragile items and also extremely heavy items accumulated from five generational properties. We personally found the prospect of getting our 'treasures' out of storage after 10 years particularly daunting, however the "Relocationz" Team didn't blink an eyelid. They arrived in Palmerston North at 10am and the furniture had been placed in the double storied house in Lower Hutt by the end of the day. We also called on Dan and his team member to assist with reloading and stacking our container after various items had been re-packed. They also offered to take items to the Salvation Army for us, which we were hugely appreciative of as we were under a particularly tight time-frame. The property has since successfully sold and we will once again enlist the services of Dan and his Team with regard to vacant possession prior to settlement. Update 06.09.26- I have used Relocationz ltd for my 3rd move and they were great yet again! I’ve used Relocationz for both my moves now and they’ve been great each time! Speedy and reliable, a great service. The second move was done a steep zig zag path and they were so helpful and managed it without a problem! I’ve recommended them to friends and will definitely use them again when I next move. Dan and David were friendly and had great communication too!

Yes. A 1 or 2-bedroom flat from Te Aro, Newtown or Kelburn to Lower Hutt is usually a morning or an afternoon. The drive through the Ngauranga Gorge and along SH2 takes about 20 to 30 minutes outside peak traffic.
No, but it adds time, so tell us up front. Three-storey townhouses in Naenae, Taitā and Waterloo often have narrow stairs where a fridge or king mattress needs careful handling. Two movers is the safe choice.
