Bigger loads usually want a third mover, which Dan prices in. Fixed price within 1 working day.

Auckland is New Zealand's biggest city, so a paying load for the drive home is a good possibility. If Dan finds one, the return leg costs you less. Book at least a week ahead and stay flexible by a few days to give him the best chance.
Wellington to Auckland is about 640 km on State Highway 1: out through Transmission Gully, up past Levin and Bulls, over the Desert Road to Taupō, then the Waikato Expressway into Auckland. That is about 8 hours in a car.
A loaded truck is slower. Add legal rest breaks for the driver and several hours of loading before we leave, and most Auckland moves run over two days. Dan plans the timing with you, so you know when to hand over the keys and meet the truck.
In winter, Waka Kotahi closes the Desert Road some days for snow and ice. We watch the forecast and call you early if the road plan changes.
You pack it, a carrier moves it through their depots, and it arrives on their schedule. Your things can share space and handling with other freight.
You pay one-way hire fees and fuel, load it with mates, then drive the Desert Road in a truck you have never driven.
Our crew loads your home in Wellington, drives it north and unloads it into the rooms you choose. One truck from door to door, and one fixed price.
Tell us about the new place when you book. Auckland apartment buildings often need a lift booking and a loading dock slot, and some streets have no truck parking. Dan plans the arrival around motorway traffic and the building's rules.

We enlisted the services of Dan and his Team for our shift from storage in Palmerston North to present our property prior to going on the market in Belmont, Lower Hutt We could not praise Relocationz more highly . The shift included very fragile items and also extremely heavy items accumulated from five generational properties. We personally found the prospect of getting our 'treasures' out of storage after 10 years particularly daunting, however the "Relocationz" Team didn't blink an eyelid. They arrived in Palmerston North at 10am and the furniture had been placed in the double storied house in Lower Hutt by the end of the day. We also called on Dan and his team member to assist with reloading and stacking our container after various items had been re-packed. They also offered to take items to the Salvation Army for us, which we were hugely appreciative of as we were under a particularly tight time-frame. The property has since successfully sold and we will once again enlist the services of Dan and his Team with regard to vacant possession prior to settlement. Thank you Dan and the Team at 'Relocationz' Megan and Richard Lower Hutt

WOW!! Much deserved 5 stars. Dan and his team are prompt, have very clear communication and overall hard workers. I would recommend these guys over anyone else, if you want the job done properly and efficiently with no hassle, hire them. Moved an entire house just over 2 hours.

Update 06.09.26- I have used Relocationz ltd for my 3rd move and they were great yet again! I’ve used Relocationz for both my moves now and they’ve been great each time! Speedy and reliable, a great service. The second move was done a steep zig zag path and they were so helpful and managed it without a problem! I’ve recommended them to friends and will definitely use them again when I next move. Dan and David were friendly and had great communication too!

5 stars isn’t enough! Absolutely incredible service. I am so grateful to have found such a trustworthy, efficient and even affordable moving company. It was relatively short notice too and they fit me in. They smashed the job, quickly and safely. They were kind, easygoing and professional! Thank you so much, Dan, for moving my house. Would recommend you in a heartbeat!

RelocatioNZ moves homes from Wellington to Auckland in one truck with one crew, door to door, with no depot transfers. The drive is about 640 km, roughly 8 hours in a car, and most moves run over two days. You get a fixed price inc GST within 1 working day. Call Dan on 027 364 9590.
There is no standard price, because an intercity move can run from a single mover with a part load to a three-person crew and a full truck. Your price depends on how much you are moving, the truck and crew it needs, access at both ends, and whether Dan has a backload for the trip home. Send your details through and you get a fixed quote within 1 working day, so the price does not climb on the day.
The drive is about 8 hours in a car and longer in a loaded truck with rest breaks. Add loading and unloading time and most moves take two days from pick-up to delivery. Dan confirms the pick-up and delivery times with you when you book.
Your furniture goes on our truck in Wellington and stays there until it comes off at your new address in Auckland. The same crew loads and unloads it, with no depot stop and no shared container. Fewer hands on your things means fewer knocks.
Yes. A move heading south to Wellington can fit in as a backload after a northbound job, which can mean a lower price for you. Tell us your Auckland address and your dates in the quote form, and Dan will check the runs coming up.
RelocatioNZ does not carry goods in transit insurance. The crew wraps and blankets your furniture and treats it as their own, but cover for loss or damage sits with you. Check that your own contents policy covers your things while they travel between cities, and list high-value items with your insurer before moving day. Tell Dan about antiques, art or anything fragile so he can plan how to load and strap them.
Send us your move details and Dan replies with a fixed price within 1 working day.
